The SWAR Fellowship by iVolunteer is a one-year rural immersion programme that places young professionals and graduates with grassroots organisations across rural India. Fellows live and work within communities while contributing to projects related to livelihoods, rural entrepreneurship, education, and sustainability.

Designed around long-term, on-ground engagement, SWAR encourages fellows to understand rural realities through everyday experiences, collaborative work, and community interaction. Alongside field exposure, participants receive mentorship, training, and continuous support throughout the programme, helping them build leadership, adaptability, and a deeper understanding of development work in practice.
